Hand-crafted jewelry requires special care because it is not manufactured by earth-unfriendly processes and therefore, is delicate as are all hand-crafted fine objects. Sensitive to the potential for allergies to certain metals, Earthstone Inspirations uses nothing but .925 sterling silver in all earwires, unless otherwise specifically noted in the description.

Children should never handle EI jewelry due to small pieces used and possible sensitivity to elemental features of materials.

Jewelry is best stored in a closed environment to delay tarnish and retain colors. It is also helpful to place sterling silver in a bag with small desilicate packages to further decrease tarnishing.

To clean:

Use only a damp, soft cloth and wipe carefully. Avoid pulling or stretching the professional quality wire.

Do not use jewelry cleaners, chemicals or abrasives as they might compromise the stones but if a silver piece becomes very tarnished, a quick dip in silver cleaner will restore it to its original brightness.

Always look over your jewelry after wearing to note whether an adjustment may be required following normal stresses of wear and tear.
